At My Cornish Pet Companion, my Pet Doula Service is here to walk alongside you; offering calm, compassionate and practical support when you need it most.

WHAT IS PET DOULA?
A Pet Doula provides emotional and practical support to both pets and their owners during later life stages, serious illness and end-of-life care. I am here to guide, comfort and help you make informed and loving decisions at your pace and in your way.

The focus is always on your pet’s comfort, wellbeing and dignity at every stage.
This may include:
> Gentle companionship and a calming presence
> Support with daily routines and comfort care
> Creating a peaceful, familiar environment
> Monitoring changes and helping you understand their needs
> Sitting with your pet so they are never alone
This approach is always led by kindness, patience and respect for your pet’s unique personality and journey.
SUPPORT FOR YOU
Caring for a pet during this time can be emotional and at times overwhelming. Support is here for you too.
This includes:
> A listening ear without judgement
> Guidance through difficult decisions
> Help preparing for end-of-life care
> Support before, during and after loss
> Space for reflection, remembrance and processing grief
You don’t have to carry it all on your own.
END-OF-LIFE & GOODBYE SUPPORT
When the time comes to say goodbye, calm, reassuring support is provided to help make the experience as peaceful as possible.
This can include:
> Being present during euthanasia (at home or at the vet where appropriate)
> Helping to create a calm, comforting environment
> Offering emotional support throughout
> Assisting with aftercare arrangements if needed
> Every goodbye is handled with the utmost compassion, dignity and respect.
A PERSONALISED, GENTLE APPROACH

Booking Policy
Please be aware that enquiries don’t secure dates. Only payment as per your quote and contract confirms and guarantees your booking. I’m unable to hold dates. In the past, I’ve had several people ask to hold dates or wait for confirmation, only to cancel later, leaving me with empty slots I could have filled for other clients.
Payment terms
Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure the booking for your dates. This will be deducted from the final service fee. The remaining 50% of the total service fee is due no later than 48 hours before the start date of the pet-sitting service. Failure to pay means your booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be kept as compensation for the reservation.
While quoted prices are valid for 7 days, I reserve the right to accept another booking in the meantime if payment is not received to secure a booking. Thank you for your understanding, this is my livelihood, and I truly value every client who chooses to book with me.
